Attorney General Jeff Sessions recently caused quite a stir when he seemed to be indicating that he is on a national crusade against the use of marijuana throughout the country. Just when you thought weed was soon to go the way of the cigarette when it comes to law enforcement, there is a chance it could be going the other way.
A medical marijuana law was passed way back in May of 2016. Details such as who will grow and sell marijuana and how much patients can buy, were left to the Ohio Department of Commerce, Ohio State Board of Pharmacy and Ohio State Medical Board. Patients must be registered by physicians with whom they have a relationship.
This is NOT California or Nevada and several other states. Ohio is a state with tightly-enforced marijuana laws. When you find yourself on the wrong end of those edicts and are charged with marijuana possession or trafficking you need to call Attorney Jon Sinn. Chances are, the only sin you’ve committed is NOT calling Jon. Akron criminal attorney Jon Sinn at (330) 431-0160.
