Who is Best to Negotiate a Plea Bargain on Your Behalf?

It may not be the initial thing on your mind when you hire a criminal attorney, but if and when it comes down to it, have you hired the right person to enter a plea bargain?  A plea bargain is an agreement between a defendant and a prosecutor, in which the defendant agrees to plead guilty or no contest in order to reduce the overall charges.

It’s a simple fact that as criminal courts become ever more crowded, prosecutors and judges alike feel increased pressure to move cases quickly through the system.  When deciding on the right criminal defense attorney in Northeast Ohio, would you like to hire someone with very little experience or someone who has worked on “both sides of the aisle.”

Plea bargaining is a delicate issue, and if you can find someone who has worked for the government at one time and now is one of the staunchest defenders of the accused in Summit and Portage Counties take a closer look.  That man may well be Akron criminal defense attorney Jon Sinn.  Many times the only sin you may have committed is not calling Jon at (330) 431-0160.

High Times Throughout Much of the U.S.

Not so much around here, though when it comes to the use of marijuana in the state of Ohio.  Each state has its own weed laws, of course.  So far there are 11 recreational weed states.  In 2020 a few may be joining them such as New York, New Mexico, Minnesota and Illinois.  47 of the 50 states now allow some form of medical marijuana.

Ohio has decriminalized small amounts of marijuana for medical use for such maladies as –

1.  HIV
2.  ALS
3.  Cancer
4.  Alzheimer’s
5.  Epilepsy
6.  Glaucoma

That is just a small list of the syndromes covered by medical marijuana in The Buckeye State.  If you have been arrested for the illegal use or possession of weed in Ohio, please call Akron criminal defense attorney Jon Sinn immediately.  Sometimes, the only sin you may have committed is NOT calling Jon.  Ohio criminal defense lawyer Jon Sinn at (330) 431-0160.
