Having a Weapon Under Disability.

It sounds odd, doesn’t it?  What does that mean exactly?  The definition of having weapons under disability means acquiring, having, carrying, or using any firearm or dangerous ordnance, while someone is a fugitive from justice.  The person could also be currently under indictment for a drug or violent felony.

Here are the facts in the state of Ohio…having Weapons while under disability is a felony of the third degree and is punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.  It is a very serious charge in the Buckeye State and must be vigorously defended!

When you call me, I presume you are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  That is the way it works for me.  My name is Jon Sinn.  For decades I have been defending those who have been accused of weapons charges.  Sometimes the only sin you may have committed is not calling me first…Jon Sinn at (330) 431-0160.

Know the Law Before you Touch Your Keyboard.

Thanks to Google and the world wide web virtually anything is accessible these days.  One thing that should never, ever be searched are child pornography videos.  It is illegal under Ohio state, as well as federal laws, to even view images of child pornography!  They simply are NOT considered protected speech by the Constitution.

Here are some examples of what is prohibited –

1.  Using a child under the age of 18 for nudity-oriented material
2.  Pandering obscenity involving a minor
3.  Also, pandering any sexually oriented matter involving a minor
4.  This includes emailing or texting sexually explicit photos or video messages

The stigma of being convicted of a sex crime is like wearing a “shock collar” for the rest of your life.  Have you or someone you care about been accused of a sex crime?  Akron criminal defense attorney Jon Sinn has the experience as well as the skill to fight your case.  Sometimes the only sin you have committed is NOT calling Jon.  Attorney Jon Sinn at (330) 431-0160.
