Concealed Carry Laws in Ohio.

Let us begin with Ohio law 2019-023.  It says - No individual employed in a security position by a private or public school may be armed while on duty unless he or she has completed an approved basic peace officer training program, or has completed twenty years of active duty as a police officer.  Before you get yourself into that position please consider the law.

Then there is 2017-045.  A county sheriff may not issue an Ohio concealed handgun license to a person who is not eligible under federal law to receive or possess a firearm.  Having a concealed handgun license in the Buckeye State is covered by many statutes.  You must follow ALL of them!

If you or a loved one has been detained on a concealed handgun charge in Ohio, please contact criminal defense attorney Jon Sinn immediately.  Attorney Sinn works from his office located in Akron.  Sometimes the only sin you may have committed is NOT calling Jon.  Attorney Jon Sinn has over two decades of experience.  Call (330) 431-0160 today.
