Guns in Vehicles in Ohio.

I don’t think I have to tell you that you are treading on dangerous ground here.  How does the state of Ohio treat this?  The Buckeye State prohibits any person from knowingly transporting or having in a motor vehicle a loaded firearm that is accessible to the operator or any passenger who has not left the vehicle.

Here MAY be some exceptions –

1.  The gun is unloaded
2.  It is in an enclosed package or case
3.  It is placed in a rack holder specifically made to carry that firearm
4.  The length of the firearm and barrel may also play a part

Being arrested in the state of Ohio on a charge of transporting a firearm or having it in your car does NOT necessarily mean you are guilty.  So pick up your phone immediately and call weapons charge defense attorney Jon Sinn.  Many times, the only sin you may have committed is not calling Jon.  Seek the council of Akron criminal lawyer Jon Sinn by calling (330) 431-0160.
