These are dreaded words that we never want to hear while we
are driving. It may happen to the best
of us any time…guilty or innocent. All
of a sudden you glance in your rear view mirror and there they are - those
nasty red and blue flashing lights. It
could be something as innocuous as you simply forgot to signal when changing
lanes.
Whatever the case it is vitally important to keep your
cool. If in fact you are cited for going
over the speed limit there are two steps to follow. First of all, don’t bother to start an
argument on the scene…that will never go well!
Secondly, do NOT just systematically pay the fine even if you believe
that you were speeding.
Take a breath and when you get home (or even before) place a
