It’s a brand new year and we just made it through another holiday season. We don’t want to start out 2017 with some scare tactic, but we do want you to be aware of the consequences of drug possession and trafficking in the Buckeye State. Penalties may be severe including large fines and YEARS, not months of prison for certain convictions.
If you were not aware, the federal government may get involved in prosecuting some drug cases and take it out of the hands of the state. In some cases handling drugs is a misdemeanor, but it could be a felony and it becomes very confusing. For example, a first degree drug felony conviction can result in up to eleven years in prison and a fine of up to $20,000!
An individual who is found guilty of holding or selling drugs in Ohio will have their life altered forever. If, heaven forbid, you or a loved one is charged with a drug crime of ANY kind in the state do not hesitate. Call Jon Sinn immediately. Attorney Sinn has successfully defended drug charges in Ohio for decades. Wherever you are in Northeast Ohio the only sin is not calling or texting Jon at (330) 431-0160.
