Be Aware of Domestic Violence EVERY Month.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) evolved from the "Day of Unity" held in October 1981 and conceived by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The intent was to connect advocates across the nation who were working to end violence against women and their children.

In October 1987, the first Domestic Violence Awareness Month was observed. That same year marked the initiation of the first national domestic violence toll-free hotline. In 1989, the U.S. Congress passed Public Law 101-112 designating October of that year as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

The reason for the history lesson is to make us all constantly vigilant as to the ever-present possibility of domestic violence occurring in our lives.  If you have been accused of such a crime you need to call Akron domestic violence lawyer Jon Sinn.  For aggressive representation the only sin is not calling Jon.  Attorney Jon Sinn at (330) 431-0160.

YouTube Speaks Volumes.

Are you a YouTube aficionado?  Not everything on there is a piano-playing cat!  You can learn a lot about things as well as people on this amazing tool which premiered nearly 13 years ago.  These days there are over three billion hours of video viewed per month.  While that is a staggering number already, it just keeps growing.

Are you familiar with criminal case that involved a man by the name of Joshua Gaspar?  He was accused of killing an Ohio State Trooper while driving under the influence of drugs.  This was a story that made national news and was certainly on the minds of many in Northeast Ohio.

Today Joshua Gaspar is a free and very lucky man.  He met Akron criminal defense attorney Jon Sinn.  At one time, Attorney Sinn was part of the prosecution…now he vigorously defends Akron area citizens who are faced with criminal charges.  Do yourself a favor and see the YouTube videos of this historic case and you may discover that the only sin is NOT calling Jon.  Attorney Jon Sinn at (330) 431-0160.
